I was told last week though that you can actually buy coffee in the coffee shops.

I've never seen one from the inside since I don't smoke.
That is interesting to me. I'm from California and we have a ban on smoking inside. Starbucks here are pretty popular since they serve more than just a regular cup of coffee.
Well if she says smoking it's more smoking pott than normal cigaretts in those coffee shop, the netherlands are famous for it (Although I don't smoke at all)

If you ever get a chance to go, my favorite drink is an Iced Caramel Macchiato with caramel drizzled inside the cup walls. :9 mmm

Starbucks here are mainly used for business meet ups or students to study. You see lots of laptops lol
Aye, I didn't mean smoking cigarettes. ;)

Officially that's also forbidden in hotels/ pubs/ restaurants where they have employees working, rather then just the owner. It's to protect the employees against the smoke toxins.

However making it illegal to smoke weed in a bar were the only purpose is to smoke weed... Well that's kinda a paradox. :P

We have a weird law btw, it's illegal to grow weed, but it's legal to buy, though in limited amounts.
It's also tolerated (not legal) to grow up to 6 plants in your home, but if for whatever reason the police needs to enter your house they'll also take the weed with them. They're still trying to figure out how to solve this problem because there is a lot of criminal activity going on in the growing process.

The big advantages of having it partially legalized is that we have relative the lowest amount of drug victims in the world and it actually works discouraging. (From what I've heard the quality of our weed is also among the best in the world lol.) There is a lot of education about the disadvantages of using weed on schools and the fun factor to smoke because it's illegal isn't present either.

Overal I think that the amount of people smoking isn't even that high, we have several coffeeshops in my own city, but people really don't like living near such a place since it lowers the value of your houses and stoned people tend to cause problems more then sober people.
Not to mention it's not a place to raise your kids.

I believe it's also illegal thesedays to house a coffeeshop near a child rich neighbourhood and near schools.

I'd like to find out if someone close to a Del Taco can get me a code for the shuttle?

As I live in South Africa getting to a Del Taco is gonna be a bit beyond me. :)

Thanks.

Hah, jk: When do I get the Type-8 Shuttle in-game?
You'll be able to use your Shuttle once the game launches on February 2, 2010.
You can use it before Fed 2nd.

The shuttle works as follows.
1) redeem the code on the site link provided by Del Taco
2) enter the game
3) click C-Store
4) Select Rewards
5) Open your inventory and transfer the Shuttle Pet to your Ship's Device Slot
6) Press "P" and click and drag the Shuttle emblem to your action bar

Shuttle can only be used out of combat. Once in combat the shuttle stores itself.

People are selling Del Taco codes on Ebay for roughly $5 to $9 USD.

I have one and it really isn't very noticable ... but its nifty I recon.
