According to the newspaper, The Telegraph (Not a credible news source in my eyes).
The BBC have come up with a "Dream Team" of new presenters to replace Clarkson, Hammond and May.

It seems the BBC seem desperate to milk the Top Gear franchise for all its worth.

It won't be the same without Clarkson, Hammond, and May. It's dead and the BBC does appear to be milking it dry. My hope is that Hammond & Co. come out with some other show very similar to Top Gear. If they do release another show, and it does indeed come to Netflix, I'd be one happy Netflix customer.

The way they said goodbye, quite touching.

It seems that the BBC are using all the current Top Gear channels on YouTube to upload clips from previous episodes since they sacked Clarkson. Even the "The Stig" channel, which was supposed to be behind the scene power laps and some other Stig related stuff, is now nothing more than a archive of old clips.
They are all getting a ton of dislikes and negative comments about how the BBC are trying to squeeze every last bit of advertising revenue out of the franchise.
Even if they carry on with a new cast, I can't see new Top Gear lasting more than 2 seasons.

The BBC have given Evans a three year deal so it'll probably go on for that long, even if the ratings are awful. I think a lot of people will tune in at first just to see what the new one is like. Personally, I hope they leave in droves after that.

I remember people saying the same thing about match of the day when lineker took over from lynam (that it'll be dead within the year) and countless over shows over the years.

Yeah, it could go on for a long time. We just won't know until it hits. I am hoping it does do well because i like watching car shows. It won't be the same without the 3 but it'll be another car show and that's a good thing. I'm just waiting for Clarkson, Hammond and May to start up their own show, that i'll be watching.
