There is such a thing as going to far. What else can they show???
JP1 - People go to park/island, dino's break out, dino's kill people.
JP2 - People go to park/island, dino's break out, dino's kill people.
JP3 - People go to park/island, dino's break out, dino's kill people.
JP4 - See above.
It's what a Call Of Duty movie franchise would look like.

Re: Jurassic World
Also in the book there was a dino mentioned that could camouflage itself iirc. Maybe that's the one they're using in this movie.

Re: Jurassic World
From what I understood Isla Nublar dinos died out a few weeks after the accident. Or atleast thats what was hinted at by those in Lost World.
But according to the Masrani site the dinos infact survived as they did on Isla Sorna. So it seems all they had to do was wrangle the Dinos on Nublar and cage them up as they built the park on the very land the dinos roamed. Im assuming Sorna is used as a secondary site they can pluck dinos from if they need replacements or deposit them if they need more space on Site A (Isla Nublar).
My only concerns with this movie is that the Raptors are nothing more then pets. JP3 Raptors were a real disappointment. They were shown to be really intelligent but lacked the ruthlessness of the prior films. In the book as terrifying as the T-Rex was. The scariest parts of the book were the Raptors trying to get into the bungalows where the visitors stayed. Apex Predators with human level intelligence made them the true bad guys.
I dont mind them taking a backseat to this new threat these scientists cooked up. It is after all a cautionary tale about genetics and experimentation. But if the Raptors behave the entire time in the movie and dont turn on Pratt and the others at some point. I will be just as disappointed as I was with JP3.

Re: Jurassic World
This was something of a problem raised in the book but ignored in the film. The park as it stood, partially finished and just proving the concept, was a very different entity than what it was destined to become. The dinosaurs weren't going to roam free and natural forever, there were going to be trainers and performances more like Sea World than a nature preserve. Hammond wanted some of the dinosaurs modified so they could be domesticated to make that aspect of the park more manageable, and was fairly worried that the paleontologists would find out about that part of the plan before they signed an endorsement contract.Allegiance86 wrote:My only concerns with this movie is that the Raptors are nothing more then pets.
Basically, he wanted dolphins as they are at Sea World, dancing and singing and splashing the audience, and now how they are in the Pacific Ocean, killing and raping and picking things up and carrying them around with their junk. Now that the park is actually open and stable, that's what you get.

Re: Jurassic World
Maybe. But the whole point of the Chaos Theory was to disprove everything that Hammond and his Scientists believed. Apart of me just doesnt want to see a film where the Raptors are lap dogs. Without their ruthlessness they are worthless.Hevach wrote:This was something of a problem raised in the book but ignored in the film. Dont worry, as it is with movies, they wont last long... Then the balance would be restored.Allegiance86 wrote:Maybe. Re: Jurassic World
I am right there with you husker on that. Raptors are spooky especially how the pack hunt and able to plan and remember. Smart monsters
