D2D download currently applying a large patch if you enter your account details and try and log on

And you can access beta forums

So far its downloading 300mb -patched 660mb of game -6% , so perhaps just under half of the initial download,

Where are you finding this patch ? I just downloaded the game yesterday do i need it ? when i try and log on the game launcher says i dont have permission

It sounds like (from the STO forums) that a few people got into the game in a small window that werent supposed to get in. Supposeldy what they patched has ruined their client and they will have to reinstall but... that could be just what cryptic is saying to prevent other people from geting in. any one know the time of open beta launch is it midnight Tuesday or some time in the morning or have they not said anything ?
