Id like to get a Tesla Model S some time in the future if I can afford it, however Il never get a Prius.
Besides, Who in the right mind would just give up a car that looks like this? for a Prius??

I have loved Alfa Romero's since my mother had a 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. The new ones look amazing, though they don't sell many here in the States. Though currently I have a BMW and love it but will be trading it in for a Tesla in the next few years, most likely the Model X. How great it will be to really only have to worry about electricity :rommie:

Iv now noticed that my fuel consumption has dropped quite noticeably. There isn't any signs of any leaks.

Iv booked my car in to have the intake manifold cleaned out and also a fuel filter change.

The smoke, rough running and idle and high consumption sounds like over fuelling. Although there's a million other things it could be.

The manifold clean will be a big improvement anyway.

Just got my car back from the Mechanics after replacing the fuel filter and cleaning out the intake.
From what the mechanic told me the throttle body was jammed by all the crap that was in there. he told me hes never seen so much crap in an intake system before, and how expensive the fuel filter was to replace.

The car is performing so much better, it Idles better, there is no Turbo Lag and its all a lot smoother. Iv yet to start the car up from cold to see if the problem iv been having has been resolved, but its looking promising.

Good news!

Nice Alfa btw.

When Opel used Alfa diesel engine's they had similar problems...

I kinda want to change my diesel astra for a petrol one. New job and now I hardly do 7000km a year...
