I chose to convert all my stuff, in tribble I got a paltry 40k Dil, in Holodeck, I left off around 200k dil before I logged off to take a break from clicking so many tokens.

Edit: Finally finished, got 600k dil outta it. I do way too much stfs...

My toon won't transfer to tribble to see what I would get if I didn't convert to dil... result of an unknown bug, support told me. Fabulous. :(

As an added note:

You'll be getting approximately (but not exactly) twice as many as you're seeing on Tribble right now. Numbers are still in flux.

I converted everything I had. got about 75k dilithium.

I REALLY don't think the conversion rate is worth holding onto items for.

Honestly, doubling the processors makes me lean even more towards converting.

Like I said in my other post, filling marks on requisitions will give you a processor surplus. Doing elites to progress and do store unlocks will give you a huge processor surplus.

The conversion seems to be giving a lower mark:processor ratio than the projects take, meaning even if you're getting a lot of processors, you're not getting enough marks to use them all, meaning before you're done you'll have even more processors. Meanwhile, the dilithium shortfall is still sending you down to B'tran every day.

Not fully versed on this, but since the general consensus appears to be towards converting, I'll follow the crowd on this one. ;)

Convert. The tiered return system simply screws you. Get your dilithium, doff etc. Even if they doubled the dilithium "bonus" I'd still say convert. We can easily get the drops from steamrolling more stfs.

Do we have at least a round figure on how much dilithium tier 5 will require all told?

EDIT: So looks like dilithium has been taken out of the tier progression and instead you have to buy your gear, etc, from the tiers with dilithium instead. Handy in case you really just don't want one piece or another.

Are you talking about the SB tier there? I don't think anyone has unlocked tier 5 yet, but one of the tier 4 special unlocks, I was told is 1,900,000 Dilithium. Now costs may be reduced somewhat with S7, but I would guess the dilithium cost will only be slightly changed if at all, and to top that off there will be the embassy to work on as well. All of which means we need to build up as much dilithium as possible. Between maxing two reputation system continuing to advance the SB(s), and the Embassy there is no shortage of places to spend all the dilithium we can make.

The tiered loot system is what I mean you can check the thread linked by Cassie, its not good for anyone with a pile of loot from STFs.

No, I was talking about the new faction tiers, not starbase.
