The 12th Fleet: Starbase Valhalla

Hello 12th fleet!

Just thought I'd stop by and drop a note to see how everyone is fairing.

What are the initial thoughts on Season 7 so far? Everybody figured out that waterfall accolade yet? or the bridge troll? What do you think of the new reputation system?

Nice to hear from you. While I can't speak for the whole fleet, I will give you my feelings on these, but as a fleet we are fairing well. Season 7 has brought some new fun to the game for some of us. As far as the waterfall accolade, no I haven't, are you speaking of getting to the middle? Same with the bridge troll. I'll be on at lunch time EST today and will look into both of these. Let me know when you are next in-game and I'd like to meet and chat with you if the time works for both of us.
I'm not a big fan of the Rep. system as it currently stands but I see that Cryptic is making some changes that will help to improve it.

Hello Merlin,

I'm usually online most evenings between 5-7 pm EST. I should be online tomorrow (Wednesday) around that time. I usually check in to run some doff missions and maybe some of the Romulan ones. Not a big fan of the reputation system myself, especially with the high costs and long wait time for each Tier. The new daily missions are fun, at least the sector one...I haven't been able to get a Tholian Red Alert yet. But the system missions are very cool, especially with the random "support" vessel that likes to appear every so often to lend a hand.

I've been able to get the waterfall and bridge troll accolades. I actually have all of that set if you need help figuring it out. That was the reason I asked before. If anyone needs help with those I'd be more than happy to lend a hand. They are a bit challenging. Although I heard rumor they were going to fix the waterfall one so it wasn't so difficult, but I haven't been out there to check it out since then.

My handle is @laportej. Feel free to add me or send a shout out on the UFP-EMBASSY channel. I've always got that live in case a friendly stops by to say hello.

I think there is a bug in the Tholian Red Alert as I have clicked to enter it but it always throws you back to sector space immediately. I have heard others in the fleet have had the same experience.

I did get the bridge and waterfall accolades so I'm good on those, but thanks for the offer of assistance.

I am usually leaving work right around 5 PM and headed home for dinner but Friday I work the evening so I should be on during my dinner break. Hopefully we can run into each other then.

Speaking of in-game things, I was wondering if the 12th fleet would be interested in participating in a Joint Fleet Event that we're currently planning with another fleet (Explorers Fleet).

The event itself will be on Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at 1900 GMT (2 PM EST). We'll be running a Fleet Defense mission and other Fleet Marks missions depending on the turnout.

We wanted to invite another fleet to join us and I thought instantly of inviting the members of the 12th fleet. That is, if you're interested.

Good to meet you last night in game. Thank you for the invite to the interfleet event in January. 12th fleet would be happy to participate in the event. If you could please provide me with some more detailed info if you have any, regarding level requirements, rules if any, where to meet, etc and I will add the event to our fleet calendar and invite the fleet to join in.
