My name is Soral and I've been asked to stand in for Collier while his schedule has him on a reduced status. Collier has briefed me on the long standing relationship our two fleets have had and I look forward to getting to know you all alot better.

I've been informed of the PVP tournament that Collier has been working with you on and I understand the planning for that is on hold while you are completing some re-organization. As Collier indicated, there's no rush to getting that done. I just wanted to say that when the re-organizing is done, I'll be ready to help put the finishing touches on that project.

I trust Soral's services are to your liking, I'm popping in partly for business and partly for pleasure

Down to the business now. Quite a while ago my CO and I re-wrote the Treaties {UFP} uses in order to make them something easier to understand and make them more meaningful. Previously we offered three kinds of treaties but these have been consolidated into one. We felt that despite the minor differences in terms they all meant much the same thing: We're firends and we want to have a strong relationship with you. The previous Treaty we have with you still stands and will continue to stand should you not find the revised one to your liking, this is by no means a take it or leave it situation.

So with that said, I present the terms of the new Treaty:-

Section A: Introduction
The purpose of this treaty is as follows:-

1. To avoid conflict between the parties
2. To resolve any disputes through peaceful negotiations
3. To develop relations to our mutual advantage
4. To strengthen relations through joint activities
5. Share information to our mutual benefit

Section B: General Terms

1. Both parties agree to peaceful and friendly relations with one another and will not engage in hostile action against each other.
2. Both parties agree to conduct activities in their own best interests and each others mutual benefit
3. Both parties agree to seek peaceful resolution to any conflict or violations.
4. Neither party is obligated to make their services available to the other e.g Game or Teamspeak servers. This is by invitation only and to be decided by the party hosting such services.

Section C: Conduct

1. Members of both parties must abide by all rules relating to the usage of the websites and forums of other parties when using them.
2. Members of both parties will not become involved in any action that may have a negative effect on the other party.
3. Members of both parties agree not to impersonate another member of the other party.
4. Members of either party do not have the right to speak on behalf of each other in any internal or external dealings of any kind.
5. Members of both parties agree to conduct themselves appropriately on services provided by the other party. i.e. game servers and forums/websites.
6. Members of either party will not involve themselves in the internal affairs of the other party.
7. Neither party may solicit funds, promote commercial entities or otherwise engage in commercial activity on one another’s forums, websites and/or chats

Section D: Sharing and Security of Information

1. Both parties agree to share information with each other that may be mutually beneficial.
2. Both parties agree to share information on potential threats with each other.
3. Both parties agree information explicitly deemed classified by the other party or gathered through interaction with each other is to be held in strictest confidence.
4. Both parties agree not to use information obtained to the detriment of the each other.

Section E: Mutual Aid and Resources

1. No party is obligated to provide Material or Military aid.
2. Both parties may request Military or Material aid when possible and appropriate.

Section F: Amendments

1. All amendments and ratifications are to be conducted on an annual basis unless agreed by both parties.
2. Contracted members may allow their own members to vote on amendments internally to decide their position.
3. Amendments will be approved upon agreement between both parties.

Section G: Violations and Terminations

1. Both are bound by the terms of this treaty. If any contracted member is in violation of these terms, a review is to be conducted to reach a resolution.
2. Both parties are responsible for the actions of their members. While the actions of an individual may not render a specific party in direct violation of this treaty, it is expected that disciplinary action be taken against inappropriate actions of their own members. If no such action is taken, then the party may be in violation of this treaty and steps taken as per Section G: Part 1 of this agreement.
3. Contracted members are expected to maintain contact with each other. If any member does not make contact over a period of 120 days, such a member is in violation of the treaty and action will be taken as per Section: G Part 1 of this treaty.
4. Exceptions to Section: G Part 3 of this agreement may be granted if sufficient reason and notice is given and agreed to by both parties.

Please peruse this at your leisure and take your time in making your decision. The terms are not set in stone and we can certainly discuss additions and amendments before finalising if you wish to go ahead with this. As I said above though, if you prefer the agreement we have now then we shall leave it in place.

I should also like to say, at present I am officially on Leave of Absence but will be making myself available to you until the matter of this new Treaty is finished. Soral will remain as your full time Ambassador during and after this matter has concluded. I can be contacted easily by private message either on your own forumsor {UFP} forums (I will not be contactable in-game until my Leave has concluded).

On to the pleasure, I hope you'll be able to work with Soral on the PvP tournament soon and I'm still up for keeping the Rankings up to date {UFP}-side when it goes ahead
