Ive been following this game awhile alot longer then any other game i first heard about before it got dropped by who ever first had the idea i have no clue who it was then i started really following it after it got picked up again by cryptic prolly the top in my list for anticipated games
hears a question for everyone. dose anyone know if our beta cariters will Carey over for when the game launches? or do we all go back to the academy agen?

I would assume there will be a character wipe after Open Beta is over.

Even for the Open Beta I would love to try a Galaxy class ship for Exploration of Vesper class for MACO. I can't decide which I'd really prefer, but both look amazing

I'm aiming for a Cruiser and i'll probably try and get a Galaxy class. I was hoping for an Excelsior, and the Vesper seems to look exactly like it. So i'll almost certainatly use it once I reach the right rank :)

The Vesper is skinnier, sleeker, and seems to be manueverable, as to the large, destructive Excelsior class, which is a more powerful, bulky, cruiser. I guess it just depends on what role you'd prefer to play XD

Well, I came across some posts while browsing through STOs forums about missing ships (mainly the Excelsior, Nebula, Ambassador and Steamrunner). It was mostly speculation, but this is what they thought:

Excelsior: Vesper
Nebula: Celestial
Ambassador: Envoy
Steamrunner: Zephyr

That, as well as some screenshots i've looked at, made me think that the Vesper was the ship for me.

Too bad about the wipe, but practice is always a good thing :) .

Personally, im either looking for an Olympic, or perhaps a more diplomaticly-oriented ship. Either way, looking forward to the realese more than ever!
