Thanks Guys!
Looks like I have full forum access....
I cannot seem to download the Beta Client from File Planet, as I keep getting an error that says call customer service.
Have a CE pre-ordered from GameStop for InStore Pick Up, but they do not have their Beta Keys yet.
So, for .99 I picked up the Target Pre-Order just to see fi I can download a client somewhere.
I have a Steam Account, but dont see any Beta stuff for STO on Steam.

ok! Intel it is!

Welcome to the forum from a fellow computer nerd!

I know this is out of place, but I figured you'd get a kick out of it.
I wonder if that not might be a good upgrade for my buddy Stormwolf, he fried his brand new Intel E8400 procesor and is using a LGA 775 P4 Procesor as a loner, on teh same Mobo, Vid Card configuration.
Brand new system and he has not even used it due to 3 months of troubleshooting, only for it to end up the processor.
We have identical systems:
4GB RAM
2 Sata WD Cav Black 500GB drives
2 nVidia GeForce 9800GTX+
Asus P5ND Mobos.
Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo - which he fried!

Nice system :D The funny thing about the newegg thing is the chip they want to pair with it is an AM3 chip. I cracked up over that.

I just got my i7 the other week and am still trying to play with overclocking it. My ambient room temperature doesn't seem to want to stay solid so it's staying just under 3 gigs
