Division is medical.. Department is science I believe you use the cadet avatar till the admiral says you are in your division and to ask for forum access.. That what I did anyway.. Then you are an ensign.. Am I right? I hope LOL

I think it's like you say. There is a post somewhere that says you stay a cadet for two weeks, but this period before release seems so odd that they are basically asking people to take on Ensign as soon as they are assigned, which is same day or next day. I assume that when the game goes live, things are going to change for a lot of the processes.

Mind you, this is only my observation of what's been happening. I am not making the policy! Heaven forbid!

It's not a long wait, thankfully. Also, we don't have our academy structure yet so some of the cadet activities are not in place.
