Was it me or was Nog's dialog delivery a little "Kirk-ish"?

To be honest I find Welshavenger's signature to be more intriguing than the new FE.

Its not like there are only a handful of good mission in this game anyways.

I am quite disappointed by the Iconian Story Arc, its simply badly done and the Iconians should already have wiped us out if they really were that powerfull (When their herald ships die in the thousands to my little intel bird anyways it kills the whole "omg they are powerfull beings" feeling).

The House Pegh mission was just bad, this mission was a bit better but still it feels like the usual "Deus ex machina out of the rabbit hat".

Also "wait for next week for the reveal of the week 2 rewards..." why did they not simply write them all down, you can see them ingame already anyways. (And hey another item wich grants invulernability, I want the "god mode button" next!).

I agree the Iconain story makes little sense and feels all wrong. What we see in the story is the opposite of what we experience. They are meant to be the most deadly and powerful enemy but in games are perhaps the weakest easiest enemy. So weak, a single star ship takes out an entire wave of them in 1 volley. Which leads us into stupid scenes like when the planet was destroyed even though we have enough firepower to destroy to enemy ship 5 times over before it got a shot off at the planet. But you know cannot as it would beak the cut scenes.

I personally enjoyed the mission, it may not be the best but at least it is new content, and that is always a good thing. The issue I see with the iconians is we only fight their pons and not them, but as many say one would think they would be kicking our butts. It does get down to keeping the game enjoyable, but they could have done something more to make them more threatening then the Borg.

I think a big issue is the huge powercreep. For new players that have no clue those Herals might even be hard. But for the seasoned players everything is just a 1 hit, even on hard ground is laughable and space is simply a long grind of hp and not a real challenge.

I miss the times when the Borg STF's were actually really hard. But in the end, this is the one true major problem with any Mmo out there, at first while under the learning curve the content is nice and hard, challenging and interesting. As soon as that passes (after 3-6 month's usually) its simply a grind and overpowering everything the devs throw at you.

Unfortunately there is not really any receipe against this (well maybe as GW2 is doing it by ceiling the power of players permanently and then you can design challenging combat around that ceiling - which GW2 is horribly failing at ^^)

You could play on elite, or do you already do that?

I quite enjoyed this one myself, though it did feel like a prelude to something more that I wish was already here. Still, it was heaps better than House Pegh, and Nog was great. All the chronitrons! \o/

I play on elite sometimes, but its simply too boring, there is no real difficulty added just a ton of hp to grind trough.
