Personally, I agree that specialised runs should be moved to a separate table. Then at least you can see the achievable DPS from what's essentially a (good) PUG. On the other hand, the specialised table shows what's achievable when you've pretty much got everything going for you.
I have no problems with the admins branching off and doing their own thing. But kicking everyone off the channels during downtime, inviting them to the new channels and passing it all off as a natural progression of the DPS League was a dirty move. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably use both channels because more people to play with is never a bad thing.
Oh well.
I'm too busy making sandcastles to shoot at Borg and Iconians anyway.

Well as it turns out i've been completely booted from 30k and not received the inv for the DPS-Silver channel which would be 30k.
Oh well, i'll just do another 30k run

This link from Reddit... Bring popcorn. It's mainly pro-numbers DPS League (the majority).

Strange... The Metals people are pretty efficient. You should had an auto-invite since they have CLR with them... but, yes... a 30K run would do it

Never been classed as good enough by their standards to join any of the channels so, meh, I'll just give this drama the attention it deserves and go about my day.

Tbh i haven't concentrated on max dps for a while, i just play for fun. Logging in and just chatting is sometimes more fun than the game. I'll parse runs for fleeties but that's about as far as it goes really.
Maybe steering clear of all this until it dies down is the best idea.

Any time you have a group of competitive players they'll always be some drama that will spill out.
Remind me of the good old times when there was enough PvP'ers for such drama.
