Personally, I agree that specialised runs should be moved to a separate table. Then at least you can see the achievable DPS from what's essentially a (good) PUG. On the other hand, the specialised table shows what's achievable when you've pretty much got everything going for you.
I have no problems with the admins branching off and doing their own thing. But kicking everyone off the channels during downtime, inviting them to the new channels and passing it all off as a natural progression of the DPS League was a dirty move. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably use both channels because more people to play with is never a bad thing.
Oh well.
I'm too busy making sandcastles to shoot at Borg and Iconians anyway.
Never been classed as good enough by their standards to join any of the channels so, meh, I'll just give this drama the attention it deserves and go about my day.
Tbh i haven't concentrated on max dps for a while, i just play for fun. Logging in and just chatting is sometimes more fun than the game. I'll parse runs for fleeties but that's about as far as it goes really.
Maybe steering clear of all this until it dies down is the best idea.
