They did mention something about "Risian print shirts"...I imagine it to be something akin to Hawaiian print shirts.

Nandi was also the former Companion who was the Madam of the brothel in the Firefly episode "Heart of Gold". Don't think that is terribly applicable in this context, but interesting trivia nonetheless...=P
