Not really enough Science for my personal tastes, as you know I've gotta carry GW3 everywhere I go (except in extreme circumstances) so that Commander slot is always Sci for me.

From the make-up of the Sci-based boat, it's going to come out as an even more tactically focused version of the MMRE (same console setup but Cmd Tac/Pilot instead of Sci and some other differences). I'm sure that'll appeal but I always found the MMRE a little disappointing (just my personal feeling).

The traits might be worth a look, but I still haven't gotten around to picking up All Hands on Deck from the Command ships yet so I'm not planning to rush into these either.

I think that out of all of them, the Rommie designs come out best. Fed ships look lacklustre and the less said about the Klingon designs, the better. They remind me of the evil ship in The Black Hole film. Can't remember the name, Cygnus maybe?

Well some T6 ships get two Lt Cmdrs and some ships get 3 Lt's...this is one of them and I agree personally would of liked two Lt Cmdrs more.

On the ships...I can honestly say I'm not sure what I'd do...I was looking forward to them and well I'm kinda let down in some ways.

These console powers seem to out of place...two of them sound like they should be on science ships and the tac one...I don't think tons of missiles when I think little ships.

The Tac trait could be interesting for Torp ships...I kinda want the Romulan tac one...but I also don't like the looks of it much...personally I think the Romulans got the short end of the stick when it comes to looks...I especially like the sleek but deadly looks of the KDF ones.

I'm conflicted but maybe some day I'll invest...

Design-wise, I think the Fed (other than the Ajax) and KDF ships look great. The Rom designs just don't strike my fancy (the complete opposite of the command design). :P

Yup...the KDF ships are beautiful and deadly looking at the same time...like I've said before it feels like with the Rom ones I need to buy the 3 pack just to make a customization I'd actually be okay with.

I'd like to have a go, but I probably won't be laying down any money for them sadly!! I'm not sure what the point of the engineering- and science-variants is...With those BOFF/weapon slots, they just look like escorts but sacrificing tac abilities to make room for others. They just all seem like they're for tac captains who might want to dabble with the odd grav well or something :)

Normally I would be excited about small agile escorts. The Fed ones aren't the ugliest design I've seen (I'm looking at you, accursed FPER).

At $30 a ship it's very expensive and Cryptic is flooding the market. So who knows how long you're going to use these ships before replacing them.

Might as well keep the ship you're using as save yourself the money.

4-6 months

next "Grind" ship is in two months, then another ship around oct. then another "grind" ship is dec.

the minimum is 2 pay ships a year and 3 grind ships a year.

£25 eh?
I remember paying only £8 for a T5 Defiant back in the day... oh how things have changed...
