Yeah, I really want to know what that was about...Amarai wrote:Well not going to spoil anything but if you have been leveling a delta recruit and been gathering the Iconian stuff in the different missions there are some interesting things that do come up about the Iconians and their place in the galaxy.
To be more to the point look at the info gathered during the mission "Crack in the Mirror." This mission gives the coolest info I have seen yet about the Iconians.

Re: Prelude to the Iconian War
This is how MMOs work. They roll through Big Bads through out its lifecycle. The Iconians arent the only issue out there.seraph wrote:OK I finally have to say it...if we fight the big bad that is behind everything....then who do we fight next? What will stop be like without iconians?
The Cardie Arc hints at there being tension between the Dominion and Federation even 30 years after the war. Rapier, the mission where you hunt down a lost ship in the wormhole, hints that the Dominion are using the lost ship as a means to gather intel and technology to use against the Federation.
That plot was never put to bed. And we have yet to go into the Gamma Quadrant. A Second Dominion War, or an attempt to prevent one, would definitely give the players a reason to intrude on Dominion Territory.
