I beg to differ to Hohndo, there is something to look forward to, there is a lot to do even without butting into other species' lived in Trek. They forgot Borg, Undine, and countless other species far superior to Federation and so right there is something every Federation citizen can work towards: advancing themselves.

I personally absolutely have no issues with "sending our best ships out" to find something new. This act is precisely what drove most of early modern era today and so I don't think it is so far flung to think it might drive some future era.

It's a joke, man. The video is always done for fun, anyway.

It does bring up some interesting points, though. Haha

The one about Skynet is so surprisingly true that something bad probably will come from it. Lol

For the curious, the other one I talked about:

It could be argued that because capt. Archer stopped the sphere builders, changing the course of the future, the events that led to the Enterprise J might not have happened.

It was out of his control due to time travel.

The Sphere Builders was never supposed to happen.

I feel like that battle probably would have happened anyway.

And really, in a universe where time travel is possible, if no one comes from the future to help you do it, is it really the right thing to do? Lol

Archer stopped the Sphere Builders therefore the Battle Of Procyon V will never happen because they were never allowed to expand. That still leaves the question, was/will the J still be constructed??? I'm guessing no because i'm assuming the Sphere Builders would have had some kind of hand in the destruction of the previous Enterprise vessels. The Sphere Builders were stopped, there were never huge battles or massive death tolls and more Starfleet vessels survived. I'm assuming that if Archer never stopped them then Starfleet and the Sphere Builders would have been at war right up until the Battle Of Procyon V requiring bigger, more powerful vessels like the J.

That's my logic anyway :P

What I was saying was, due to someone from the future, who set in course the plan for Archer to stop the Sphere Builders, because they were made a immediate threat, rather than one later on.

Would not have happened if it were not for the fact the Sphere Builders were already going to lose that battle. They sent messages back in time to change the outcome and eliminate Starfleet.

It's all a bunch of time travel of a JJ level of time travel events. So much is left up to the viewer to figure out.

Edit: SOMETHING happened to set in motion the reason to alter time. That's the cause, Archer and the NX are the effect.

The Sphere Builders losing the Battle Of Procyon V to Starfleet was what caused the Sphere Builders to contact the past and tell the Xindi that Starfleet was going to attack them. Archer and the NX had already happened by the time the Sphere Builders contacted the Xindi. Had the Sphere Builders not lost the battle against the Federation they would have had no reason to contact the past. It all leads back to that one battle. That's why Daniels called it a pivotal moment in history as that's when the Sphere Builders were defeated and also what led to them needing to contact the past. The Battle Of Procyon V was the cause.
