carriers cant be ....fun. thats illogical.
arriers the most half... thing they've done to date. big. fat. slow. but comes with pets that die in 4 seconds.
give me 8 hangers 2 360 degree weapon slots and a command range of 20km then i might feel like a carrier and not a glorified space turtle

It's certainly fun! The only carrier I've played with in the Obelisk carrier and it was fairly maneuverable (compared to Galaxy-X which is only 1 pt better), throw in a few RCS accelerators and it could actually work out. But nerfs and nerfs and changes can upset even the most dedicated carrier freak!

As cannon goes, overall your pets(planes) in real life do most of the work of a carrier anyway, so I'm not really liking this idea. Maybe they won't nerf it too bad, I'll be optimistic for now.

Clicking on a target, then clicking on the attack button and waiting for it to blow up is not my idea of fun. Well, I should say more boring than it is now, since my preference leans heavily towards fast ships.
