As for me, my heritage is Irish as far back as is traceable as records from the 19th century are absolute crap. However my last name is Watson which traces back to Scotland lol
I however was born and raised in Canada just north of Toronto. I hold dual citizenship both Ireland and Canada so I can work and live here or anywhere in the EU.

Mine's a completely ridiculous and uninspiring mish-mash of Irish (from Derbyshire), late 19th century India, Tees-siders, travelling fairgrounds, railway ownership and stupid rumours about Captain Cook.
I am a huge mutt. 1/2 Irish (Loftus - though originally English, i.e. Adam Lofthousse, once Queen Bessie's exchequer in Dublin, 100 years later descendants had gone native in Galway); 3/16 Scots (Alexander); 1/8 Swede (Lundgren); 1/16 Taffy (Edwards); 1/16 Cornish (Elliot) and 1/16 French Canadian (Millette) the last being my surname - go figure.
i'm 100% Scottish by blood but was bought up in england so cockney accent mother and father were Scottish...
come from a military and law heritage, i'm a retired police officer who now trains the police and military personnel of the future, my twin brother is a royal marine commando and my sister is a prosecutor at the old bailey.
