Yes indeed the JFE has lately gone quiet however we assume its due to pretty much many of us having a busy schedule and exams and so on. I myself have my exams ongoing however they end soon!
Other than that, the teamspeak servers you will find majority during the US timezones, EU do tend to be slightly inactive.
No changes have been done so far, if there would've been any I would've been the first one to let you know!
