Then again, I'm lucky to make enough money for 200 euro not to be a problem, it just means I'll save up less money coming month then I normally do and the big advantage is never having to pay again or worry about it.

My brother in law was pretty much forbidden to do much more with the pc then e-mailing and occasionally surfing by my lil sister haha.
Now that they have their first kid it slowed down even more.


Btw, I got the life time sub about 30 min. ago. I don't care much about the bonusses but it'll save me money down the line and the idea of not having to pay any fees anymore is very nice. Although I'll also make use of the micro transactions probably, but I'm putting that at a max of 5 euro/ month, doubt I'll even spend that much on them.

Bonus for life time sub is 2 extra char slots and playable borg, bonus for 1 year subscription is 2 extra char slots.

In euro's the life time sub is about 165,50 euro, a little more then I anticipated but I probably wouldn't have 2nd thoughts anyways even if it was 200 euro.
(And that was before I knew about the bonusses haha.)

I seem to have gone a little overboard on the game. I've already purchased enough copies of the game to get most of the pre-order items offered. I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time. So to answer the OP, hell yes I got the life time subscription. But I do plan on playing for a long time so I think it will save me money in the long run. If I think about how much I've spent on other MMO's I think its a fair price. Plus I'm sure I'd make a sexy Borg. All that's missing now is my 12th Fleet tag to go along with my new ship and Borg toon. COUGH!!...hint.....COUGH!!

Extra information:
Life time offer with 2 char slots + borg char lasts till 1 feb 2010 for 240 dollar.
After that you can get a life time sub for 300 dollar and no extra's.

So basicly 60 dollar more with no goodies... If you want the life time sub get it before 1 feb.

Same goes for the 1 year offer btw, till 1 feb you get 2 extra char slots, after 1 feb the price goes up and no extra char slots.

If I think about all the money I put into wow, even leaving for a few months and coming back (we all know that cycle).....This will save me money without a doubt. Even if I get bored at some point in the distant future, I'll come back, and now it won't cost me a dime.

On a side note I was reading that Borg will be available during the head start so it looks like I wont have to wait after all
