All the reports are saying that ITV have signed the 3 lads up (Thank god) for a rival show which they want to air in direct competition with Top Gear on Sunday nights. I really really would love to see that happen. I don't see Chris Evans being able to hold up against Clarkson, May and Hammond irregardless who Evans has co hosting the program with him. You just cant beat the craic that the three boys have haha

Looks like the Beeb are shedding 1000 jobs because they spend more than the license fee brings in. I wonder if knowing Evans got paid 3 million to keep top gear on TV will be of comfort to those losing their jobs.

Does Jonathan Ross not have some big chat show now with ITV? Its funny to think of the revenue that was brought in by the Top Gear brand to the BBC thanks to Clarkson and the boys and now they are gone they announce the shedding of the jobs?
I would say more to the fact they are waiting for the operation yewtree or whatever the new one is called into the background of whats happened at the hands of previous presenters to finish and then the impending lawsuits that are likely to follow.

I gave up my TV licence and only use streaming services now, between Prime, Netflix and the catch up services (which aren't covered by the licence yet) I don't actually miss watching live TV. I'm certainly better off financially.
