I never really watched the Avengers when I was a kid, but I remember Patrick MacNee distinctly from Battlestar Galactica and A View to a Kill, as well as his many many cameos in other movies and TV shows. Also as Sir Wilfred in one of my favorite horror flicks ever, Waxworks. He will be missed.
