Seriously? After the forums caught fire regarding the massive amounts of grind in the game, they give us a rep project? They can't even be bothered to create a unique mission for the 5 year anniversary and give us the ship as a reward? This is lazy game design of the highest order.

no no. they created a unique mission that cuts the grind down 400 q inventory sucking crap cards.

but lets face it. they'll just sell it in 2 months as a 3pak anyways. with a 4console gimmick

The only ships I can remember Cryptic giving away for free with no grinding whatsoever was the Odyssey Star Cruiser and Obelisk Carrier.

The Odyssey Star Cruiser was the only thing driving me to play the game when I first joined STO and unlocked that ship the during the second anniversary event.

I have to say I'm highly disappointed...not only is the ship kinda mediocre, it feels like they're just taking the easy way out to avoid making more Romulan and Klingon ships...lets face it the only ship the KDF and RR could look forward to actually getting a year is the anniversary ship...now they don't have that.

If this was a Fed ship, I would agree. But it isn't. It's another alien ship given to every faction. Cryptic is being Cryptic: they will not make 3 ships when 1 can do.

Also, the metrics say everybody plays Fed, so you are wrong.

They don't make things up. That would be dishonest.

They actually only look at the metrics they care about and that agrees with what they want.
