Yeah, if my hunch from the subtle-as-a-hammer Facebook posts is right, I'm honestly expecting a fleet version and a set bonus on the consoles from all three Galaxies. A buff that might at least redeem the ship, but probably not satisfy many people or get me out of my Armitage.

I'm hoping for an LTC commander and a turn rate boost, and wouldn't object to 5/3 weapons and a hangar.

I'm dreaming of a Dyson-style mode change from Eng to Tac, tying the tactical mode to saucer separation to help the Galaxy-R at the same time (Galaxy X alternating between tac and eng commanders, Galaxy-R keeping its eng commander but switching between tac and eng LTC)... But that's really a pipe dream.

I think a hanger is a bit much to hope for , but a lt cmdr tactical station would be awesome , especially if they add another tactical console

Oh, I know it's a bit much to hope for, just saying it would speed my departure from the Armitage a tad.

It does have that Galaxy-class cavernous shuttlebay, but I've always bought into the idea that the distinction between "carrier" and "ship with shuttles" is less in how many shuttles they carry and more in how equipped they are to rapidly deploy and recover them during combat. The Vesta has the deck elevator, the Armitage and Atrox have separate in and out doors, etc.

Yeah that's what makes a carrier , you can stick a deck catapult on any old ship , but how you recover said aircraft is a different story

What about taking the lance away as an ability and just slotting it as a 5th forward weapon. Kinda like the hoover ship's silly dhc's that can't be removed. Then they can make an entirely new 3 console set that boosts different area's of the ship depending on the class of ship being used. Put the 3 consoles together and you get a boost to lance damage. Also make the cloak an integrated ability rather than a console.

I'm kinda sad if it to big of a change cuz my galx build works wonderfully. Just hope I don't have to redesign my build for the new ship. I hope it's just passive buff or tactical stations added or maybe new console slot.
