Yeah definitely better now. I like the grooves along the inner edge that follow on from the front.

I was just looking at the shuttle bay/hangar bay. Are you planning on having a door right at the front and leaving the landing strip open or having an entire sliding roof that opens??? Maybe an inner door and a main outer roof/door. The shuttle is moved in to position, the inner door is closed and the outer door/roof is opened. That way something larger like a Runabout or Captains Yacht could be stored there even though the ship is relatively small.

Another thing that i noticed is rear torpedo launchers, does it have any??? Maybe rear firing from that torpedo launcher up top.

Hmm , Have you considered having the top centre pylon going further forwards and linking up with the structure under the bridge ?
Could be officers quarters with the nice views that they would give :)

And how do the vesta variants do shuttles? Seems like a force field holds everything in place....

How about this Macha?
(I'm probably not going to go with blue busards but...)

Yeah , that's what I meant , so that there isn't a massive gap between the pylon and the bridge section

As for the vesta , only a single version of it has the force field

On some fan versions of the design , there are actually two shuttle bays , one for standard shuttles , and a second for larger craft ( a feature that STO slighly hints at , as thats where the pets lift off from. Think DS9 runabout pad . This isn't on the LCAR's version though so it probably isn't canon, but maybe an idea to use ? )

I didn't even have my skills a week ago. Working 12-20 hours a day on something for several days straight and you'll learn a lot in a hurry. It also helps to have a few friends on skype, know how to use google and have a great fleet to bounce things around with!
:bolian:

Now, back to work...
:twisted:

Wow, great work so far. It's funny, for as good as I am at illustrating people, mechanical drawings elude me sorely. I'd like to pick your brain about mesh rendering sometime though ^.^;;

Heh, I'm still wondering how I'm going to do all the windows let alone the texturing.
Going to eat then take a nap, 2 more days left! Still so much more to do.
