I have the Razer Naga Molten Edition. I bought it as little as 2 months ago, roughly. This morning when i used the mouse the right mouse button was very sensitive. It was clicking even with my finger off the button. I figured out i couldn't even have my hand on the top of the mouse without it activating. Makes gaming hard when it's constantly right clicking all the time.

Has anyone else had this problem and know of any way to fix it???

Or do i just return it and do without the pc while it's tested and replaced??? Btw they say it takes 10 days to test an item and then 5 days delivery of a replacement.

I've had similar problems.

I haven't fixed it yet but Razer says to reinstall the drivers, but I highly doubt this is the issue.

I've heard cleaning it, and using contact cleaner when cleaning it helps a lot. Just been too lazy to do this.

Try blowing it out with some canned air. If it's a button you don't use, disable it in the Synapse, but that's not really the way it should be.

I should add that the click is not as loud as the left and it's a lot softer too. I'm thinking it's the actual button inside that's worn but after 2 months??? Seems a bit soon. That seems to be a problem with this mouse according to the video's and forums i've looked at.

I didn't have a lot to add in your initial description, but if we're talking about worn buttons, I can confirm that my Naga's middle (scroll wheel) button doesn't work anymore after using it as my PTT button for several months.

We had a conversation about it one night a while back, and there were a couple confirmations that the Naga wasn't built to last.

I've had my Naga for a while..

Hakashin suggested it to me and I bought it that week if that gives some time frame to it's lifespan.

I just don't think they were made to be durable. You use the mouse so much that you actually heat up the parts on the buttons then I am sure you'll break something.

Clearly it's defective if it has broken after only two months. Depending on your local consumer rights, you can ask for it to be replaced completely rather than sent away and tested as it is within the designed life of the item.

I had similar issues with my last Naga, the plastic they use for the mechanisms are very lowgrade and break down easily after heavy use. I just got rid of mine and switched to the G600 from Logitech.
