I saw screenshots way back in the day of a Galaxy-X saucer separated, but I guess they were having issues with the saucer's mini shotgun lance of doom working. That was the last I ever heard of it. I really wish they would come out with it soon. It would be so nice to have that 10th console slot on the USS Nyan...

I'd rather they just buffed the lance slightly and changed console/boff layouts

Which they might do and call it the fleet version.

It really needs some TLC, this was an exclusive item back in the day which you could only get through referrals (thats how i got mine) and I originally thought when i first received it that it was the most epic ship in the game, you know fire through hulls of neghvars with a single shot. However the reality of the situation isn't quite that.

I am kinda there with you goldy. I don't really think it needs a saucer sep ability. I've noticed though it could use a little love. I seem to make mine work fine in pvp. But recently I noticed what seems like a new dps exploit going on.

It's honestly not super bad, although to get it on par with some of the other cruisers it takes some serious fleet stuff. I've been having some good fun with it on the 1v1 tourney. It tanks like no one's business, but I agree the damage is pretty lax. Also the Lance seems to miss more than it hits, which is kind of always a let down. I'd love to see it get some love though. I'm pretty happy with the BO layout it has now, I just would like that extra tac console slot (or whatever it is), bonus hull, and shield modifiers. I'll gladly take anything that will aid me in collecting tears from tac's in PVP to fuel my engines...
