So, my computer is underwhelming to look at, but it's solid and runs well and I have few complaints. My case is just a box, plain and all that. I spent all of 12$ on it several years ago and got it on clearance so it was with free shi GB pping. Inside I have an Asus M5A78L-M LX Plus mainboard with an AMD 955 Black edition (125 watt) quad core CPU cruising at an easy 3.2 Ghz. It is cooled by a Cooler Master Hyper 212. It's got 8 GB DDR3 PC3-10600 Patriot manufactured, but AMD branded RAM, a 1TB Samsung hard drive and an XFX Radeon HD 6670 2GB video card. My monitor is an Acer 23 inch and input is handled by my (for now) Logitech wireless keyboard, a Razer Death Adder mouse, and a Razer Nostromo. I have a nice set of old Altec Lansing speakers, but Kenna rarely lets me use them. Instead, I use a Razer Carcharias headset.

And I have a piece of living history connected as well. In the far left of the picture, you can see an ancient HP Laserjet 4P. I've had this thing for somewhere around 5 years and I have not yet had to buy toner for it.

Mine is decent enough. Originally bought it from ibuypower, but they dicked me around and screwed me over for 6 months that I ended up spending an extra $500 for replacement parts, and I rebuilt the damn thing myself (something I should have done to start with.)

Me? Well I just bought a new graphics card and installed it today. Only to find that the software is either broken or just doesn't like me so it keeps freezing everything.

Back to the old card and software. At least the new RAM seems to be working fine.

Now time to get my STO fix that I've been waiting for all day.

What is that red glow? That isn't all from the CPU fan, is it?

It's a 12" red cold cathode tube. It really isn't that bright as in the pics. I can have it on next to me while playing in the dark and it's not distracting.
