High Command


Fleet Admiral:

The Fleet Admiral watches over the Fleet and runs the Website. They have a vote just like the other Admirals, but holds the deciding vote if the Council of Admirals has reached a deadlock, or there is no clear majority. They can also veto any changes made if they are not in the best interests of the Fleet. The FA has Fleet Admiral rank in the game.


Fleet Executive Officer:

The Fleet Executive Officers assists the Fleet Admiral in watching over the Fleet. In command meetings, if the FA is not present, the FXO acts as the FA, with the ability to cast a vote, and give the deciding vote in the case of a deadlock. The FXO has Fleet Admiral rank in the game.


Vice Admiral:

A Vice Admiral runs one of the Divisions. They are responsible for the day to day running of the Division, and ensuring that the voice of that Division is taken to the Council of Admirals for discussion.They also hold a vote in Admiral meetings during which policies for the Fleet are made. They have Command rank in the game.


Rear Admiral:

A Rear Admiral is the second in command of a Division. They help the Vice Admiral to run the Division, taking up any responsibilities that are delegated to them. They hold a vote in an Admiral meeting only if their Vice Admiral is not present. They have Command rank in the game.


Command Advisor:

Also called a "Commodore" the Command Advisor is a retired Vice Admiral (or higher) who retains access to the Officer forums to give their opinions on pressing matters, and help Command to do what is best for the Fleet. They are no longer in a Division, but have a strip of color on their avatar to honor their past Division. There can be a maximum of 10 Command Advisors. They hold Captain rank privileges in the game.


Fleet Captain:

Fleet Captains are essentially the third in command of a division, taking a more active role in the Division as a whole than the Captains. They look after the other Captains, as well as assisting the Admirals in Command discussions. They have a vote in an Admiral meeting only if the Vice Admiral and Rear Admiral are both not present They may also be the commanding officer ("CO") of a squad with duties similar to a Captain, depending on the division. They have Command rank in the game.

Low Command


Captain:

Captains are the first Command rank of the Fleet. They are in charge of a squad. Captains are the first contact for their squads, liaising with higher division command regarding member issues. Captain's duties vary from Division to Division. They have Captain rank in the game.

Non Command

Commander:

This is the most prestigious rank in fleet for members not involved in fleet management. Many Commanders act as the XO of their squad, although that varies from division to division.


Lieutenant-Commander:

The second most prestigious rank in fleet for members not involved in fleet management, Lieutenant Commander is a rank lower than commander, having no real responsibilities other than the standard member activity requirements.


Lieutenant:
Holding a moderate prestige within the fleet, Lieutenant is a rank lower than Lieutenant Commander, having no real responsibilities other than the standard member activity requirements.


Lieutenant, Junior Grade:

The first prestigious rank within the fleet, Lieutenant is a rank lower than Lieutenant Commander, having no real responsibilities other than the standard member activity requirements.


Ensign:

Everyone's journey begins here, the rest depends on you. Ensigns have no real responsibilities other than the standard member activity requirements.

All non-command ranks have Member rank level in-game.
