Really..?

That's interesting, I'm curious about the load technology now. I can think up with a couple ways to save parameters on a jpg file and then make them loadable afterwards, but I imagine that it's actually a picture of your character that was saved?

With my idea it would look nothing like a normal picture and instead you'd see a lot of weird symbols, a bit like a sort of 2D or 3D bar code.

However they do it, it does seem to work since I could load files without problems last night.

I don't know how exactly they are doing it, but in champions online (same method) there is a small chance that the char you load won't look 100% the same in the face or the body, they everything else gets loaded normaly.

Hmm... that's probably because there are last minute changes in parameter settings. I hope they don't change those anymore before headstart.

I'll took a good look at my character when I load her and compare the parameters with how I set them. I'm blessed with a semi-photograpic memory so even if it all went to waste I can probably recreate my char pretty fast. I can usually never get it 100% right anymore though.

I'm also drawing on my knowledge of portrait drawing to create the ideal character, there are certain ratios in the face/ body that help me create a character. I have to say though that Cryptic already set most those settings right, so that saves a lot of work. If you're looking for the perfect setup without too much trouble then just put all sliders exactly in the middle, this should give an optimal result for a minimum amount of time invested. :P

In my case I didn't like my chars length so I've also messed around with the torse and leg lengths, but after that I also had to fiddle with hip wide etc. etc. It's a never ending story.
