Also as to those one aliens. I kind of liked them but then again the quest I got for them involved receiving a very old transmission and going to look at a long abandoned facility where some Orions jumped me. So I guess the crash test dummies were extinct in my random content.

I think the crash test dummies are just place holders for alien races to be randomly generated - they just have tied in the generator yet...

More important than memory alpha, when they open the sector people can reach Starbase 31, that's a nice thing for those member who aren't at Tier 2 yet, there you can buy basic MK 3 items...
