I feel the same way. I'm just cruising around having fun. I will be playing an engineer/cruiser for live instead of science. Keep in mind you can own all ships of any tier you have access. Some classes have abilities more relevant to certain classes but do not let that stop you from getting your science officer in a cruiser if your money and the mood strike you. Spend your money on the other ship classes. You cannot take it with you to live anyway.

yea i love that you really arent locked in you class you pick has a little impact on your ship but theres no reason a engineer cant play a cruiser 90% of the time and still pick up a tactical and be pretty good at it. Might even have an advantage an engineers survival skills might work on a tactical in some situations. Your class just really limits you on your ground skills.

I don't mind releveling at all in headstart. Actually I'm looking forward to really playing the game then.
So far I didn't get higher then level 8 in closed beta and currently level 11 in open beta since I tend to stray around and just check out stuff.
I'm hoping to at least reach the level caps in open beta before headstart begins. I want to get as far as possible now so I can try out more stuff. My main focus so far has been on finding out how the BO system works.
