kobayashi maru test #1

Post by Haugen »

Ok so i have seen some other forums do something like this and it seemed kinda fun. I am going to post a kobayashi maru style scenario and i wanna know your solutions. I think it would be fun that everyday there is one new scenario posted, but keep it only at one so people can come up with solutions. BE CREATIVE!

However for this first one, i am going to go with the one we all know that we see in the movies, with the kobayashi maru stranded and klingongs come in and attack due to violation of treaty in the neutral zone.

Solutions.....go!

Launch shuttle. Eject its warpcore into the shields of the lead ship. While its shields are temporarily disrupted, beam its bridge crew into space. Rinse and repeat. ;)

Interesting...personally, i don't see why Scotty's transwarp beaming theory wouldn't work. The kobayashi maru's shields are obviously down or can be taken down if they wanna be saved. Id go with transwarp beaming the crew off the ship onto mine and then getting the heck outta there. Dont wanna kill my klingon buddies :)

thats a cool plan on the way out do what janeway did and drop some torpedoes like mines so when the klingons chase you they'll get battered

Beam engineers over to the Maru.

Challenge the 'lead' klingon to single combat to buy time for the Maru to get repaired.
