Quiet Beginnings
2367-
Being born under the watchful eye of the Federation near Gamma Quadrant,the kind yet stoic Helvic Ond grew up on the bustiling station of DS9. With his father as a Starfleet Medical Officer and his mother a diplomat, Helvic has a life with Starfleet, but with close adversaries. His family was often treated poorly by frequent visitors because usually Tellarites are not known to have a soft side.With this condescension on him and his family, he did not have any friends except that of the bartender, Quark. He also gained another friend, a Selhat Cub whom he named Gorux after he received it as a gift from a Vulcan Captain who was a friend of his mother's, seeing that the young boy needed companionship. Dealing with these troubles, Helvic would occasionally go to the operations room where his mother sometimes assisted in diplomatic affairs, and watch her deal with all kinds of aliens. But he also wondered why things had to be a certain way, why his family could not be so different than an average Tellarite. Spending his childhood helping his father with taking care of injured animals and joining him on trade missions, he became inspired to help the weak, and know he too can save lives. When the age and opportunity arose, Helvic applied to Starfleet for the hope of becoming a Science officer. After passing the security clearance and entrance exam, Ond was on his way to promising and prolonging career. But before he had left, something quite tragic burned his heart so deep it still continues to burn this day. It was an ordinary day at DS9, Helvic's father, Delvak, was finishing his daily medical inventory check, and his mother assisting with diplomatic affairs in the Operations room. But all soon turned quite grim, when Cardassian scouts managed to infiltrate the station, ambush security, make their way to operations and sabotage the room. Confused and scared on the attack, Hersa attempted to make her way to the Promenade elevator but soon was surrounded by two brute Guls. They wanted to make an vengeful deal because apparently Hersa had aided the Cardassians in her young age, but as a spy. Because of this treachery she caused, it was revenge at it's warmest, one of the Gul's smirked. She had spit in his face, remarking she would never become that devil she once was. So they then took a dagger to her throat, quickly beamed back to their ships, leaving her lying cold on the operations floor. A respected funeral had been arranged, but even with the condolences given, Helvic could not erase the cold image of his mother's blood flowing on the floor.He had never felt this sad yet strong emotion, called Rage. But now it was boiling through his veins, ready to release upon the monsters that cast the evil.
Starfleet Entrance
2380-
In the first year a cadet at Starfleet Academy, Helvic became interested in his studies, qualifying for honor classes including Psychology and Linguistic enrollments. He was at the top of his class, yes, but the lowest in the social chain. He still did not make much friends, because his family, the Onds, were quite known from DS9, with most not having anything to do with the 'soft swine'. But all was not unfortunate, for an female Andorian, Tala Fen'lon, was quite impressed with Helvic's fortitude and willpower to strive on that she had her faith in him and asked to be his first officer if the opportunity arose. Admired by this, Ond decided to keep that in mind. Tala and Ond had became good friends, and even though they were two different officers, for she was tactical, that could not separate their bond of studying together, and being there for each other thin and thin.

Rising through the ranks
2380-2385
Ensign, Lt.
After four difficult yet successful years of tough courses and suprising experiences, Helvic Ond officially graduated from Starfleet Academy in 2430 alongside his good friend. After short, amusing conversations, Helvic reported onto his first assignment on the U.S.S Forment, a Miranda Class Cruiser, as a ensign medical officer. Due to compromising efforts from the Borg, the captain had become assimilated, leading to Helvic promoted to Lieutenant and in command of the U.S.S Forment.
2386-2389
Lt. Cmdr
After three years on the U.S.S Forment, Helvic had been assigned another ship, the U.S.S Forment II,a Research vessel, because of recent investigation that the warp core of the prior ship was destroyed by invading Klingon warriors.Helvic had again been promoted this time to Lt. Cmdr, for sheer bravery against the Klingons, and sacrificing his ship so he could beam onto a passing frigate with his crew, have them destroy the warp core, and watch as the BOP and Forment explode. This mission had first began as a trade mission on a asteroid mining facility between the Federation and Orions. These Orions worked for the KDF, but were really agents for the Federation. When KDF command had learned of their treachery, they planned to eliminate the honorless dogs, along with the Federation trader representative, who happened to be Helvic. After approaching the mining base, the Klingon scout ship had decloaked and fired upon the base, interrupting Trade deals. Helvic had helped escort and beam away the mining personnel to his ship, where Klingon warriors had begun to beam aboard and kill federation officers. Quickly seeing this, Helvic then again escorted the personnel to a bypassing freighter, leaving just him and his crew aboard the Forment. After fighting their way to the Engine room, Klingon Warriors had sabotaged the warp core, causing it to break down and soon be destroyed. With no time left, Helvic's crew had managed to beam to safety aboard the freighter, but a Klingon Captain took Helvic and threw him to the floor, and blocking his path from the transporter pad. At this moment, Helvic wanted to surrender, and just give his life up. But then his mother's wise words had been in his head, and that caused to him to be strong, thus kicking the captain in the soft spot, and sprinting to the pad, thus safely beaming aboard the freighter.
2390-2399
Commander
From continuing his career as an Starfleet officer, Helvic kept on with his research vessel, exploring the vastness of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, until his loyalty had earned him another longing promotion, to Commander. He earned the rank, because of becoming a Attaché, and sabotaging Captain B'vat's efforts to use a Doomsday machine. Requisitioning a new ship, the U.S.S Eudialyte, a Galaxy class cruiser, Helvic began a new journey with his ship, moving to deal with the Tal Shiar and Reman affairs. But all was not yet done, for this is now a declassified report, Helvic and his crew had recovered a Klingon/Pakled hybrid from Amar Singh's laboratory, Quirchersir. Quir is a 8'0, 403lb science officer that had also became highly intelligent, and was stowed away at first as a research experiment, but then maintaining a position aboard Helvic's ship after a persuading plead.
2396- present
Captain
After sustaining another successful yet callous 11 years aboard the U.S.S Eudialyte and concluding the war between Remans and Tal Shiar, Helvic had progressed to become his present rank, Captain. Excited for his fourth ship, Helvic had happily asked Tala, his first officer, to come along and help pick out his ship. Filled with glee yet holding a firm look, Tala agreed, and they both had decided on the Science Odyssey cruiser class, which is now currently the U.S.S Hersa, named after his inspiring mother who had taught him the most sustaining moral- Never Give in to defeat.

Diplomatic Achievements-
On a diplomatic mission to meet a contact for medical supplies in the Aethra system, the U.S.S Hersa was ambushed by Tal Shiar warbirds, that had guarded the planet for research purposes. After a swift attack to the scouts, Ond and his away team beamed down to the surface to only find that Romulan scientists were 'researching' a Gorn prisoner on parasitic effects. The prisoner was captured from his ship, and beamed to the Romulan scout camp on the planet below. Scrutinizing the researcher's work, Ond then stunned the three of them and beamed them aboard for questioning on how to remove the nerve-controlling parasite. Because of high-strung loyalty to the empire, the deranged researchers each injected themselves with a last resort syringe. Now complexed on how to save the diplomat's life, Helvic sent the lizard to the medbay, where he personally preformed a operation. Finding out the parasite's weakness was sonic frequencies, he used a sonic-based tool to safely uncling it from a nerve tissue- no casualty caused. Overjoyed yet guilt ridden that a small swine had saved him, the Gorn had given him a personal blade, for honor on his life.
Ambassadorial Gift: Helvic has now recently became Consul of the Federation, and because of this he has received a gift that his mother had set out as in her will, somehow knowing her son would be in Starfleet affairs. Tholian silk robes, that Hersa had once wore as Federation Ambassador. The note attached said"For the right time for the right person". But that was not all. Delvak, Helvic's elderly father, has also given a gift for his loyalty to Starfleet and the aid of others: A Vesta Science Vessel, which is now named the U.S.S. Delvak for the medical inspiration. It was actually Delvak's vessel, when he was once an Commander. He then saw that it was time to pass on this battle driven vessel to his son, to show faith that he can still do many great things in his career. Because of his ongoing side goal of becoming a promising representative of the Federation, Helvic equipped two Danube escort shuttles to accompany him in his missions.
Helvic had also gained diplomatic immunity, like his mother, and often hosts diplomatic dinners aboard his ship to win favor in gaining trust for his allies.Now working his way to becoming an Federation Ambassador, Helvic is now currently assisting the surviving romulans on their new home world, New Romulus. He sends supplies, morale support, and assisting in scientific new studies on the planets species.

Vengeance or Redemption?
After a failed raid on the U.S.S Hersa by Jem'Hadar scout ships, Helvic finds out by the encrypted data on the enemy ship's logs the Guls that murdered his mother are located in the Eta Eridini block, retired vets drinking away on Drozana Station. When they learn Hersa's son has arrived on the station, they try to casually take him out with poisoned ale, but he is quite clever and actually switches it with some strong drinks, causing them to pass out and transferred to his ship's ready room. They awake, and are in shock, angrily demanding to be let free. But with a casual walk, Helvic locks the door and then sits at his desk. He offers them a drink, but they shout out obscenities, and refuse to be still. With sudden anger, Helvic pulls out two phasers on their heads, and questions them on their past actions. Would he become the same monster that had killed his mother? No. With her soothing words in his head, he then shoots both of them in the legs, sends them to sickbay, with them free to go after treatment.
