K'rrn was born on Cait in the Capitol City to N'ven and Mrlr both of whom were scientists. K'rrns youth was typical of Caitians and without note till his 15th year. He was travelling in to the Capitol with his father for a conference when the Hovercar they were riding in lost control and crashed. His father was not severly injured but K'rrn suffered catastrophic injuries. He fractured his right leg, both the Femur and Tibula/Fibular bones as well as his pelvis. He also suffered facial lacerations and contusions from the cracked windscreen. He spent a week in the Intensive Care Unit and underwent reconstructive, osteo regenerative surgery to repair his broken bones, and well as dermal regeneration to repair the lacerations to his face. All surgeries were successful and he has suffered no deficits from it. But it was here that he found an interest in medicine. He adjusted his courseload and focused on pre-med courses. He was admitted to Starfleet Academy and Starfleet Medical in 2408.

During his freshman year at Starfleet he had little time for socializing. He would make freinds with his roommate Xhander Lightheart and the two would spend the four years together as roommates. Even going so far as to serve on the same ship during their senior year cadet cruise. During his junior year he would become an assistant instructor of the Basic Lifesaver course offered to all starfleet officers. He graduated with honors in may of 2412.

Psychological profile.
A driven medical officer he strives for excellence, often setting the bar higher for himself than he does for others. This has resulted in dissapointment for himself when he fails to reach these expectations. He prefers the company of others, but has been known to seek solitude in times of great stress or emotional lows.
