Former navy medic and current healthadmin/nurse. Looking to join a group and take off on release date (since have not been tagged for beta yet)

Not 100% on what I will do until more info on career paths are released. Currently I am leaning towards Science route atm. I have played many MMO's and have enjoyed the buff/debuff support role. Also will be bringing two or more friends with me. I will get them to register A.S.A.P

Hey, welcome on board! Always good to see more people in the (real life) medical field and of course former military servicemembers. Talking to one other member in the field on GSC now.

Someone will be through here soon I'm sure to tell you what your options are and how to proceed. Good luck. In the meantime you should join the GSC and meet and greet (it's a voice/chat program that is free to download).

Greetings!

I too work in the medical field. I'm a medic in EMS and I'm probably going to the Air Force at some point within the next 2 years to work as a critical care nurse or at least ER nurse.

I understand you don't really know which field you're officially and it might make choosing a division a little difficult but you'll have to decide which division you'd like to join before officially coming into the fleet. If need be, we might be able to transfer you to a different division at a later time but that will be up to your CO.

If anything, let me recommend Research, JAG or Diplomacy... But that's your choice!

We would be glad to have you, regardless of your choice!

Yeah with me, I put my three choices and Admiral Arsinoe chose it for me. So keep an open mind and what you're interested in and you'll get there.

Well of those choices I would prefer the Research division. Being a compliance auditor in my past career and 8 years of military service I'm sort of overdone on policy and regulation. Though if JAG division needs me more than research I can still lend my experience. *dusts off the old "ST New Gen encyclopedia"*
