Monthly Fleet Meet
Hello All!
By decision of the Council of Admirals the Squad of the Month Meet has been discontinued in favor of a new format without the attendance competition.
The Monthly Fleet Meet will take place on our 12th Discord server every month on a Saturday, the exact date determined by polling in a scheduling thread (such as this one). As with the old SotM, the meet will last about seven hours with an hour meal break midway. Meet activities include:
Immediately after the opening 15-minute gathering period, a
Drawing for 20 Million Energy Credits
EC from the Fleet bank awarded by dice roll competition among those Fleet members present.Subsequent activities may include: group battle zone runs, teaming up to cruise TFO queues and Story-Line Missions, build advice, and just hanging out together on Discord. Members and their friends are welcome to join in at any time during the course of the event; you do not have to be there for the beginning or stay to the end. We are a casual fleet, and participation in any portion of the event is optional.
MEET SCHEDULING:
The scheduling of the January meet is now OPEN.
Post your availability or preferences for dates below.The leading option is: Saturday the 25th.
The other choice(s): Saturday the 18th.
The date for the meet is chosen based on allowing for the most attendance by members during the EC give-away in the first half hour. The scheduling depends ultimately on who wants to participate and who will actually show up. Therefore, be sure of your commitment when requesting a date change because not showing up on a date that has been changed to accommodate you may mean your choice will get less weight in future event scheduling. Extra weight in scheduling will be given to the availability of those who are administering activities throughout the meet.
