Have you ever played an MMORPG? If so, which one(s) and how long: I've played STO (back when it first came out for about 2 years), Star Wars Galaxies and Star Wars The Old Republic.

In a paragraph please explain how you will benefit the 12th Fleet? Back over a decade ago, when I last played STO, I ran both a Fed and Klingon fleet, each with a couple of dozen members. I quit STO (and SWTOR) because MMORPGs were consuming my life. Since I'm retired now, that's no longer a concern for me.

This time around I'm much more casual and not interested in the ego trip of having my own fleet. I want to be a part of something that's already established, and to contribute however I can to helping out in making/keeping the fleet top-notch, and to help new players learn how to play STO.

DIVISION SELECTION
You must choose a division you want to join inside 12th Fleet. The divisions within the fleet help us to administer the fleet to better serve our members, as well as providing groups for members of similar interest. Note that all members can partake in any in-game event, your division does not dictate what you can do, it gives you a place to do what you prefer. Divisions welcome all in-game careers, you do NOT have to join the division that matches your character's "career" in-game. Instead join the division that focuses on your main game-play interest.

Before you choose which division you would like to be in, please visit the following links with full descriptions of each of the divisions.

Hmm, interesting. That's news to me, and it explains the occasional problems we have had crop up with the ARC name requirement in the last few years. Ah well, trying is good enough.

I recommend you read our Information Hub as it contains information on all our communication channels as well as other important information.

You need to set your forum avatar to Ensign! You can set your forum avatar here, just select the Local gallery Category: Engineering (be sure you unselect Command Advisor). Then press the "Go" button to see the selection of 9 Engineering avatars. Choose the Ensign avatar (first one on the top left). After that press the "Submit" button and you are done.

In the next few minutes I will be sending you invites in-game to join the main fleet and 12th chat. You will find the fleet invite in your Fleet window, and the chat invite will be in your chat options under the "Channels" tab. Be sure to press the button to join the "12th" chat channel. The "12th" channel is shared by all our fleets (Main, Reserves, and KDF), and it is where almost all our chat happens in game. We are going to seem like a very quiet fleet if you are not on the "12th" channel. (See Infohub: Communication Channels.)
