How did you hear about the 12th fleet?
I did research on various fleets and really enjoyed your web site, formal application process, and accept players at any skill level. You also seem to really care about your members.
What made you interested in choosing the 12th fleet?
I have played with 12th-fleet players in various missions (I do not remember their names). I spent time researching many fleets and am very impressed with your web site and formal application (i.e., you do not accept just anyone), as well as invite members of any skill level.
I started playing STO only recently and am currently level 65 (science) and solely play Federation ships (although I admit I am curious about non-Federation ships as well). I purposely waited until reaching level 65 before seeking to join a fleet so I have had time to practice the basics and can offer a fleet more assistance in completing missions. I have also reached a point where I cannot complete missions by myself; they are meant for multiple players.
Another major consideration for me when joining a fleet are activity requirements. Specific months of the year I will be more active while other months less active (mainly due to real-life responsibilities). However, not logging in for more than 30 days is highly unlikely. Your activity requirements are very reasonable.
I tend to be a casual player. However, since reaching level 60, I have noticed that the space and ground missions are considerably more difficult. I do not feel I will ever be an elite player because I do not have the reflexes or eye-hand coordination that many of the elite players have when gaming. LOL! Since reaching level 60, I have lost count how many times my ship was destroyed in space combat, and even more so my character being shredded to pieces in ground missions. (Part of the problem is not finding far superior weapons and defenses.)
Where I need immediate help is identifying/finding superior weapons & defenses for both space and ground combat. I am also ready to purchase (with Zen) Tier 6 ships, but I am also confused about how to purchase Fleet Tier 6 ships. Longer term, I could use some help understanding how duty officer assignments and admiralty assignments work (this entire system is somewhat confusing).

What days and times are you usually online?:
I try to log in regularly during the day or evening depending on what my work schedule allows.

Have you ever played an MMORPG? If so, which one(s) and how long:
Yes...I played STO when it was first released in February 2010 and played for about a year.

In a paragraph please explain how you will benefit the 12th Fleet?
Very simple: I really enjoy the game and enjoy working with others to complete missions. Whether I need help or someone else needs help I am happy to participate. I am currently level 65 (science), focus on federation ships, and am a Lifetime member.

DIVISION SELECTIONYou must choose a division you want to join inside 12th Fleet. The divisions within the fleet help us to administer the fleet to better serve our members, as well as providing groups for members of similar interest. Note that all members can partake in any in-game event, your division does not dictate what you can do, it gives you a place to do what you prefer. Divisions welcome all in-game careers, you do
NOT have to join the division that matches your character's "career" in-game. Instead join the division that focuses on your main game-play interest.
Before you choose which division you would like to be in, please visit the following links with full descriptions of each of the divisions.
[Engineering] [Science] [Tactical] [MACO] [Section 31]Now that you have read up on each of our divisions, please number your division preference from 1 to 4 in order, with 1 being your main/Favorite interest and 4 being your least favorite interest. After number 4, please just leave the others blank:
(3) General PvE
[Engineering](2) Group PvE, Role Playing/Creative Writing
[Science](4) Team Space Combat
[Tactical](5) TFOs and Ground Combat
[MACO] (Subdivision)

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTSIf you fail an Activity Check you will be made inactive and removed from the fleet, Please read our
Activity
Policy and acknowledge your agreement to the requirements below by selecting yes.
Do you agree to the fleet's activity requirements? Y/N : Y
According to your web site, you require members to log onto STO and the 12th fleet web site at least once every 3 months. If that is correct, then that will not be a problem.
We ask that, where possible, you provide Command at least 3 days notice of your intention to leave the Fleet. This has been traditionally considered good courtesy, and gives us an opportunity to conduct the necessary administration.
