I need some information to complete processing your application:

  1. I am unable to confirm your ARC/STO forum name: Hypatia667. Unfortunately, the ARC/STO search function is currently off-line, which is the normal way to confirm the name. Nonetheless, we do have another way to confirm your forum name:


    When you have posted the comment verifying your ARC/STO name, let me know by either replying to this thread or sending me a private message in this forum. As a side benefit, posting in the STO forum also helps to bump our recruitment thread there. ;)

  2. It is unclear from your application which division you want to join within 12th Fleet, because you have given two divisions as your number 1 choice. You put 1 both for the Tactical Division (which has the short description "Space PvP/Team Space Combat") and 1 for "General PvE" (which is the short description for the Engineering Division). Which division or sub-division do you wish to join?

      DIVISION SELECTION
      You must choose a division (or subdivision) you want to join inside 12th Fleet. The divisions within the fleet help us to administer the fleet to better serve our members, as well as providing groups for members of similar interest. Note that all members can partake in any in-game event, your division does not dictate what you can do, it gives you a place to do what you prefer. Divisions welcome all in-game careers, you do NOT have to join the division of your character's "career" in-game (12th divisions are inspired by Star Trek, but are not the same as the in the game character careers). Instead join the division that focuses on your main game-play interest.

Welcome to 12th Fleet and to Tactical


I assign you as an Ensign to Gamma Squadron (Vipers) under Fleet Captain Pattern.


If you haven't already, I recommend you read through our Information Index as it contains information on all our communication channels as well as other important information (e.g., it explains how as a new or a returning inactive member, you must go through the Recruit rank for a month before you will have full access to fleet stores in-game).

You need to set your forum avatar to Ensign! You can set your avatar at: http://forums.12th-fleet.com/ucp.php?i=profile&mode=avatar, just click on Display gallery, Go to the Local gallery Category Tactical and choose the Ensign avatar (first one on the top left). After that press "submit" and you're done.

In the next few minutes I will be sending you invites in-game to join the main fleet and 12th chat. You will find the fleet invite in your Fleet window, and the chat invite will be in your chat options under the "Channels" tab. Be sure to press the button to join the "12th" chat channel. The "12th" channel is shared by all our fleets (Main, Reserves, and KDF), and it is where almost all our chat happens in game. We are going to seem like a very quiet fleet if you are not on the "12th" channel. ;) (See Infohub: Communication Channels.)

Hiya Hypatia667! I am unable to invite "Hypatia667@Sirrah Theb" to the Fleet in game. Reasons could be in another Fleet (which you will need to leave), misspelling, character not made. Once we get the fix I can invite you to the Fleet in game.

Correct name was Sirrah Theb@Hypatia666. :vulcan: Figured it out with a little experimenting. Sirrah Theb did not look like a normal @handle, and official ARC/STO forum name was Hypatia666 not Hpyatia667. So I switched it around, gave it a try and in-game invites are now sent. :roll:
