Greetings to everyone. After finding out about the closed beta being released and awaiting the approval of my application, I came across a mention of the 12th Fleet; spending the last two hours going through both this forum and the main 12th Fleet site, I decided that I would like to apply for membership.

Unfortunately, my experience in MMO is on the level of (dare I say?) n00b...I played WoW for about three months four years ago before difficulties forced my forfeiture. However, four years older and more secure in my livelihood permits me more opportunities.

In regards to my potential appointment and given my lack of experience in the MMO world, I would accept any position within the fleet that will best serve her ranks. Given a personal choice, Tactical or Exploration would be amongst the first choice.

I thank the Flag Officers for their time in the consideration for my application, and I look forward to serving with Honour, Loyalty, and Distinction within the 12th Fleet.

Hello Aang, You are welcome to join the 12th fleet, don't worry about feeling "noob". All of us have to learn sometime and you have some experience.

As for your choice of division, exploration and tactical are both full at the moment however the research department is very similar to exploration (ppl who choose the pure science career) If you don't want to go for a scientist there are many other interesting divisions such as diplomacy, a diplomat might find himself in combat situations as well. Or perhaps Intelligence would appeal to you, performing spying missions and acting as scouts.

The division we really need people is Medical, but that would require you to go for a doctor.

The choice is yours of where you want to be, i suggest you choose a division that suits you best, besides later on there might be spots opening in tactical and exploration if you really want to be there.

Considering that in the real world, I have pursued a scientific career for three years, being a scientist in STO would be second-nature (The bio I am writing for my character has him as a exobiologist).

We can really use more doctors in the fleet though the choice is yours.
