I'm glad my reply to your STO forum post that day helped lead you to the 12th Fleet and to see that you were able to get your app in (without too much fuss) and approved. Congrats and welcome to the 12th Fleet! Also, a special welcome to the Valkyries Tactical division. I'm sure Rear Admiral Acerion will have you placed into your squadron very shortly. In the meantime, go ahead and grab an avatar like mine and make yourself a sig similar to the rest of ours.

place a 12th link in my sig over at SF.

Ship is in dock at the moment...I have a lot of inventory
that i have no clue on what to do with...but I will head
down to personnel this afternoon/evening and pick up

A good suggestion is to go make an initial "Hey look at me I'm new to the division!" kind of post over in the Tactical Divisions general talk forums.

After that, feel free to wonder about the forums and post as you see fit. Also, you should go ahead and get TS3 setup and join us on voice.

dsimms, I am glad you ask a lot of questions!! It keeps me on my toes when I read them and try to figure out the answer and read others answers. As far as a good gaming mic.. it depends on where you live. If you are in the states I would just recommend going to an electronics store (best buy or wal-mart too) and ask a clerk what would be a good mic for gaming. The mic/headphone combos are usually the way to go and there are so many out there to choose from. From my experience, the more expensive ones are sometimes just as good as the cheaper ones, but I play this game as well as Lord of the Rings Online (when I'm not at the office or taking care of the 5 kids or working my home business..whew I sound important I guarantee I really am not haha) so I really like my headphone/mic combo because it is comfortable.. it has the memory foam for the top and soft leather for over the ears so I can blame them for the times I don't take out the garbage or listen to the wife telling me to do something
