I looked at the list of available fleets in-game and felt drawn to this one.

What made you interested in choosing the 12th fleet?
I am looking for a casual fleet to join and interact with, I can play PvE, but I shy away from PvP.

Weekday Evenings: 20:00 - 22:00 GMT +10 ( normally for an hour ), Weekends 17:00 - 22:00 GMT +10 ( up to 3 or so hours depending if there is an event )

From Steam Playtimes: STO (416 hrs + 200 hrs from ARC application ), Star Wars the Old Republic ( 100 hrs, not sure been long since I last played ), The Division ( 100 hrs ), The Division 2 ( 150 hrs ), I have others but are less than 20 hrs total.

I like to help newbies with foundational ship building and help people with good deals on the exchange from time to time.

DIVISION SELECTION
You must choose a division you want to join inside 12th Fleet. The divisions within the fleet help us to administer the fleet to better serve our members, as well as providing groups for members of similar interest. Note that all members can partake in any in-game event, your division does not dictate what you can do. Divisions welcome all in-game careers, you do NOT have to join the division that matches your character's "career" in-game. Instead join the division that focuses on your main game-play interest or has a theme that fits your style.

I have received the channel invite and am already there but I have not received a fleet invite, I'm afraid.

I just sent you another invite to the Fleet.

Not sure if it is the case this time, but new members frequently dismiss the Fleet invite accidentally when it first appears. Try checking your Fleet window for the invite, and take care to read any pop-ups/windows that may appear right after you login, before dismissing them.

If you are not finding a fleet invite, try asking for an invite in 12th chat and any officer who is online can send you one (e.g., just type in, "I am the newest Fleet recruit, is any officer online who can send me a fleet invite." ) If that does not work, come back here and let me know, I will arrange a time to meet with you to send an invite while you are online.

PS You still need to "join" the 12th chat in game. Having "12th" in your list of available channels does not mean you have joined the channel. Until you join the channel, you cannot see or type chat in it. (See How to join "12th" chat.)
