Greetings, I am looking to join a fleet prior to the launch of STO, I searched the boards for a good fleet and I found myself here as it seems to have a genuinely effective structure. I am interested in joining your intelligence division, I assure you I am pretty proficient in this area by necessity. I firmly believe I can contribute greatly in a command position, but of course I am willing to work my way up and earn that keep. As for a little about myself, I'm a long time Star Trek fan and gamer, I've followed the development of STO since Perpetual was in development of the title. As for personal info I'm a myers-briggs INTJ personality, that should pretty much tell you a lot about me. If you wish to know more feel free to ask, and I hope to see you out there in the universe just as soon as Cryptic releases the floodgates.

Hey there, Im looking to join a fleet prior to the launch and was invited by Maverick to become a member of 12th fleet. Id like to take em up on that offer. Im an avid Star Trek fan but have not yet tagged for beta and dont know what field I intend to pursue as of yet.

You might start up your own thread, and also include what part of the fleet you're interested in. Might help so you're not missed over. Also be sure to stop through the STO forums (12th Fleet thread) if you haven't already, and mention that you've applied.

Welcome to the Fleet and I would be very proud to have someone that sounds so mature in my division!

While our divisions and our numbers begin to expand I can see you working your way into a command position. You should take a look at my Thread on Functions jobs, and tasks of Intel. It will give you an idea of what kinda role we will play with in the group!


I would also recomend the Jag division if your interested in that at all. It is a very brand new division in our fleet.. You sound like a good person to be involved in Jag.

Greetings!

First of all, we would be glad to have you! I will have to say, though, Intel is not receiving an recruits at this exact moment but we have opened up a new Division within the fleet. It is called "JAG Division" which is lead by Admiral Ajescorcia. The JAG serve the purpose of mediating problems that involve the fleet and look for possible hazards that might potentially be harmful to the fleet. You may check out other Divisions on availability that may serve your interest, if joining JAG is something that you would prefer not doing. To put simply, we do have some Divisions that aren't up for new recruits and Intel is one of those Division, I really do apologize.

Secondly, our promotion system works upon activity, work and recruitment within the fleet. There are age clauses to some of the upper positions as well. You start out as a Ensign and move up the chain.

Anyways, it would be good to have you and let me or another Admiral know on which other Divisions you might be interested in joining.

I would be honored by a JAG position, in fact I have studied some law and considered law school for a time, however, I should point out for a fact of record that I am NOT a lawyer. I believe I could contribute to the fleet in the sense you suggest, in the mean time I will try and familiarize myself with some of the material on the forums. Please let me know how to proceed in pursuing this position.
