Hello,i'm Shanis from Jupiter Force and we would like to invite 12th Fleet to the PVP tournament we plan to organize at beginning of June.

There will be various rewards for 1st,2nd and 3rd place.

Rewards will be various in terms of Ships,special kit modules,EC,etc.

It will be fun,social and challenging pvp tournament.

No ship,class and faction restrictions,bring whatever you want.
Same goes for Teams,if you guys manage to get 5 or more people,the better tournament will be.

Only restrictions will be in terms of D'Kora EMP,Graviton Pulse,Subspace Circuit.
But even that won't be banned but restricted that only one person of each team can use it,if more people use it in same team,they are disqualified.
(to prevent spamming and making matches unfun and not playable)

Thats one of the Fleets we plan to invite to the tournament,it's not fixed,so teams can still be randomized.
We also plan to open it for others.

I would like to assume, based on these quotes, that this tourney has an element of Ground PvP.





However, considering the usual norm and most of the other comments in the thread related to not stacking space powers/modules that it is strictly Space PvP.
If you could offer clarification I would greatly appreciate it. If there is a Ground PvP element to this tourney I would gladly offer a 12th Team.

This one will be strictly Space,but there might be also at the end of June Ground PVP tournament.

Remember that each fleet will represent itself,so there won't be any cross-fleets mixed teams.

Okay i will answer it here so you guys know.

Yes,it would be good that each fleet has 2nd team(in case some people can't make it due to RL reasons).

Yes,we are considering base on how much interest will be from other fleets,maybe split tournament into 2 days.
So those who can't make into say saturday,maybe could make in say thursday as example.

My one of main goals is that each fleet do big pvp matches against other fleets.
Example say 10vs10 match or 8vs8,but in case one fleet can't have more than 5 man team.
Then fleets with bigger participants can split their teams into 2.

I know from Jupiter Force side,that we might easily get 10 people represent Jupiter Force and create 2 teams.

Format of the Tournament style will be Elimination type.

Our PVP tournament is still in process,but basics like each fleet can have 2 teams,etc...have been decided.
We do take into account people who play through weekdays and those through weekends only.

First we need to see how much there is interest from other fleets beside you guys and 1st Column who confirmed interest in it.
Then after that goes,we shall see about teams,sign up thread.

I can also say that one of the organizators is working on Promotional Video of PVP tournament.

So if I understand correctly: It's an elimination type tournament and fleets can have multiple teams. The second team won't be participating in the tournament except as replacement for people on the first team and more than 5 player fights.

Would it be possible to have actually 2 teams from 12th that enter the tournament as independent teams?

It all depends on how much fleets with their teams will join.

I need first to get response from fleets like UFP,Caspian Division and Frontier Fleet before we decide finally.

Oh and we are currently aiming for 5th and 7th June for Tournament dates.

Sign up thread will best determine how much each fleets have teams at their disposal.
From there we can see option if 2 teams from same fleet can have matches instantly against other fleets.

Most important we will need to determine good Time slot for this tourney.
Especially a time where both Europeans and Americans can play together.

Currently how works in Jupiter Force would be 4PM EST,but we shall still talk about that.
