my stance on ships is this:all ships from captain and above are pretty much the same, its just all that really maters is the following:

here's how I'm rating ship in STO:

1.the 5 things that make up a STO ship:

1.1there area(science, escort, cruiser, exploration)

1.2there stats

1.3there mods (equipment, bridge officers, upgrades, etc..................)

1.4their tier, and the pilots ability to fly the ship(ship skills)

1.5most importantly there captain.a captain's Tate's determine the name, registration number, feel of the ship, interior design, the mods on the ship, its area of expertise, the effectiveness of the ship's piloting abilitie, and its bridge officers

2 (what maters and what dosnt)always remember when rating a ship, it dosnt mater the sighs, or the tier, but it does mater the piolts ships skill.

2.1 faction also maters, for instance: a klignon eng. ship could kill a high tier tactcial fed. ship, all because the fed. dindnt consider the klingsons cloak.

2.2 size maters, but yet does, what realy maters is the pilots skill.


im trying to make a ship rting system for the fleet, any more suggestions on how to rate ships is gldly accepted!
