:!: December 2024 Holiday Event :!:

The scheduling of the December Holiday Event is now OPEN.

Hello All!

We are scheduling a holiday event for December in lieu of the Squad of the Month meet (which event format is being retired). The December event will take place on our 12th Discord server and will begin on a Saturday (exact date to be determined below) at 8PM GMT/3PM EST. Like SotM there will be activities lasting until about 3AM GMT/10PM EST (with a c. 1-hour break midway). It will include:

Immediately after the opening 15-minute gathering period, a
Drawing for 20 Million Energy Credits
from the Fleet bank

Beginning in the first hour, a
Let's Make-A-Deal game with
Game Prizes Valued at Over 15 billion EC
Sponsored by Rear Admiral Stromgold!

Subsequent activities may include: group battle zone runs, teaming up to cruise TFO queues and Story-Line Missions, build advice, and just hanging out together on Discord. Members and their friends are welcome to join in at any time during the course of the event; you do not have to be there for the beggining or stay to the end. We are a casual fleet, and participation in any portion of the event is optional.

EVENT DATE SCHEDULING:
Post your availability and/or preferences for dates below.

The leading date option for the event is Saturday the 21st.

The other choices are: Saturday the 14th and Saturday the 28th.

The date for the event will be chosen based on allowing for the most attendance by members during the prize activities in the first hour or two. The scheduling depends ultimately on who wants to participate and who will actually show up. Therefore, be sure of your commitment when requesting a date change because not showing up on a date that has been changed to accommodate you may mean your choice will get less weight in future event scheduling. Extra weight in scheduling will be given to the availability of those who are planning and administering the event.
