Ground support runs

Bahrat and I were chatting.

One thing has become increasingly apparent, as this fleet continues to grow, is that there is a true competitive vein here. The fleet has truly come alive with engagement through individuals actively working to improve their space and ground builds. It has been great to see. Though, sometimes the love for space smothers the love for ground. I know there are several of us here that have put time into ground builds and made rank on several ground DPS charts. There is also likely hunger for individuals to push the envelope even further. A reality which can be achieved by establishing a more formalized "12th Fleet Ground Support Team." Those members who are seeking to chase new numbers need support doing so. There are already members of the fleet that have supported these runs to great success, and I applaud them. There are some of us who already have toons and the equipment to assist others in the supports runs; but, not many.

So, with this in mind, we would like to propose setting up a team of individuals that have the equipment and would be able to help others. Setting up to be a support person is not hard or expensive, nor will it take up your build loadout. It can be interchanged with your current build with ease. So with that said, is there any interest in setting up a "12th Fleet Ground Support Team" which can receive requests to run support runs on a more regular basis?

This is basically Fenris Squad of Task Force Nova fwiw. If we can use that channel and induct the volunteers into that group, that'd probably really simplify the logistical issues of this; no need to create something new, the infrastructure is already there...
